The Gruner Archive is a family history project centred around the Gruner family and the families connected to it.
It started with the descendants and ancestors of Malcolm Hamilton Gruner and Jessie Rosalie Mullally, who married in Montréal in 1930, and grows outward from there.
The archive is a mix of genealogy and family history. You'll find things like:
Where possible, records and sources are included alongside the information they support, so you can see where something came from rather than just taking the family tree's word for it.
This isn't a finished family tree, and I'm not sure it ever really will be. New records turn up, people remember things, photographs get identified, and sometimes new information changes what we thought we knew.
You'll see outstanding questions throughout the archive where there are things we're still trying to figure out. If you happen to know the answer to one of them, even better!
The goal is to keep building this over time and preserve as much as we can in one place.
