How to Contribute

This archive is meant to be shared, so please feel free to add what you know!

You don’t need to have done any genealogy research or have a perfectly sourced piece of information to contribute. Family stories, memories, old photos, names, dates, corrections, and little details about someone’s life are all useful — especially the things that might not exist in an official record anywhere.

Getting Started

To make changes, you’ll need to register for an account and log in. Once you’re logged in, you can edit existing pages or create new ones.

If you’re not sure where something belongs, don’t worry too much about it. Add it where it makes sense to you, and we can always reorganize things later.

What Can I Add?

A few ideas:

What About Sources?

If you know where information came from, please include that if you can — whether that’s a document, newspaper article, family Bible, photo album, or something someone in the family told you.

But don’t let not having a formal source stop you from contributing. If it’s a family story or something you remember personally, just say so. Knowing who remembered or shared something is useful information in itself.

Not Sure What to Do?

That’s okay! This is a growing archive, not a finished encyclopedia. You won’t mess anything up by adding something in the “wrong” place.

If you have something you’d like included but aren’t comfortable editing the site yourself, you can also send it to me and I’ll help get it added.

If you know something we don’t, we want it here.
